How It Works
Four steps. Zero complexity.
Charge once, use all season
Plug in with a USB-C cable — the same one your phone uses. The built-in 1200mAh battery means no disposable batteries to buy.
Swing and make contact
In manual mode, hold the handle, press the activation button on the grip, and sweep toward the insect. Contact with the electrified grid kills it. Prefer hands-free? Fold it into auto mode and stand it on a table: the UV light draws insects in.
The 3-layer mesh keeps you safe
An outer protective guard keeps fingers away from the inner grid. The inner safety layer sits between the grid and handle. The voltage stays where it belongs: on the insect.
Clean and fold away
No residue, no chemicals, nothing to dispose of. Fold the swatter flat, wipe the mesh with a dry cloth, and stow it in a kitchen drawer until next time.
Safety Design
3 layers between the voltage and your hand
High voltage is only safe when it is physically separated from skin. The Voltswat uses three distinct mesh layers, each with a specific job.
Outer guard mesh
Wide-gap outer layer keeps fingers and pets away from the electrified grid.
High-voltage grid
The electrified middle layer. 3500V on contact. Too narrow for a finger to touch directly through L1.
Inner safety shield
Sits between the grid and the handle. Stops voltage from reaching the grip side.
Always hold by the handle and keep the grip activation button pressed only while actively swatting.

FAQ
Common questions
Is it safe to use around children and pets?
Yes, when used responsibly. The 3-layer safety mesh means the electrified grid is separated from the outer surface by two protective layers. Adults should operate the swatter and keep it out of reach of young children when not in use. The activation button must be held down during use, so it does not discharge when set down.
How long does the charge last?
Battery life depends on use frequency. For typical household use — several swings per day during summer — a single charge lasts for a significant period before you need to recharge. Charging takes under 2 hours via any USB-C cable.
Does it work on wasps and mosquitoes, not just flies?
Yes. The high-voltage grid works on contact with any flying insect small enough to pass through or touch the outer mesh. This includes house flies, bluebottles, mosquitoes, gnats, and wasps.
What does 3500V actually mean? Will it hurt me?
3500V is the voltage of the electrified grid — high enough to kill an insect on contact. The current (amperage) is very low, which is what determines the danger to humans. A brief accidental contact with the grid is sharp and unpleasant, but not dangerous to a healthy adult. The 3-layer mesh is specifically designed to prevent accidental contact.
How do I clean it?
Switch it off and let it discharge. Wipe the mesh with a dry cloth or a soft brush. Do not submerge in water or use liquid cleaners on the mesh. The handle can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth.
Do I need to buy a special charger?
No. Voltswat charges via USB-C — the same connector used by most modern Android phones, tablets, and laptops. Any USB-C cable and a standard USB plug will work. A cable is included in the box.
Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. It works indoors and outdoors — in kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, gardens, patios, and garages. Keep it dry; do not use it in rain or store it in damp conditions.
